A booking request submitted through our website, chatbot, or email does not constitute a confirmed reservation. All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed by our team via email within 24 hours. A booking is only considered confirmed once you have received a written confirmation from JavaRoutes and, where applicable, the required payment has been received. Each booking receives a unique reference ID (e.g., JR-XXXX) for tracking purposes.

JavaRoutes offers the following payment methods: PayPal — Secure online payment via PayPal. You will be redirected to PayPal to complete your payment. Wise (Bank Transfer) — Direct bank transfer via Wise with competitive exchange rates. Transfer details will be provided upon booking confirmation. Midtrans — Indonesian payment gateway supporting credit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets (GoPay, OVO, Dana), and other local payment methods. Full Payment — The total tour price is paid in advance before the departure date. Full payment entitles the traveler to our cancellation and refund policy as described in Section 4. Down Payment (30% Deposit) — A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to secure your booking. The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 14 days before the departure date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in automatic cancellation. Pay on Arrival — For select tours, payment can be made in full upon arrival at the meeting point. This option is subject to availability and must be pre-approved by our team. All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to seasonal adjustments (peak, shoulder, and low season).

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. The following refund schedule applies to bookings paid in full: • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus EUR 25 administrative fee. • 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour price. • 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total tour price. • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund. Down payment deposits (30%) are non-refundable under all circumstances. JavaRoutes reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, volcanic activity, or other circumstances beyond our control). In such cases, travelers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

JavaRoutes strongly recommends that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, personal liability, and loss of belongings. JavaRoutes is not liable for any costs arising from illness, injury, loss, or damage during the trip that would otherwise be covered by travel insurance.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, and any required vaccinations for entry into Indonesia. JavaRoutes is not responsible for denied entry or deportation due to insufficient travel documents. Travelers must inform JavaRoutes of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility limitations that may affect their participation in the tour.

While JavaRoutes makes every effort to adhere to the published itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes due to weather conditions, safety concerns, local regulations, or other factors beyond our control. In the event of significant changes, JavaRoutes will offer suitable alternatives of equal or greater value where possible. No refund is provided for minor itinerary adjustments.

JavaRoutes acts as an organizer and coordinator of travel services. While we carefully select our local partners, guides, and service providers, JavaRoutes cannot be held liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of third-party service providers including hotels, airlines, transport companies, and local guides. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the tour. JavaRoutes is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

JavaRoutes operates in accordance with Indonesian tourism regulations and international travel industry standards. As a registered tour operator: • We maintain professional liability coverage for our operations • We comply with ASITA (Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies) guidelines • We adhere to UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) ethical standards • We follow EU Package Travel Directive principles for European clients • All tours are operated under Indonesian law with dispute resolution in Yogyakarta For clients from the European Union, additional consumer protection rights under EU Directive 2015/2302 on package travel may apply.

Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of arranging and managing your travel experience. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy page. We comply with GDPR/AVG, UU PDP, and other applicable data protection regulations.

Any complaints should be reported to JavaRoutes as soon as possible during the trip to allow for immediate resolution. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the tour completion date. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and the jurisdiction of the courts in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
